Macao forms committee to build world tourism center

The new body set up a mechanism to review the plan annually and advise on other related topics, according to an order issued by the government.

China’s Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) has set up a committee to advance the work of transforming Macao into a world center for tourism and leisure.

The Committee for Development of the World Center of Tourism and Leisure is responsible for drafting a blueprint plan for tourism development for the next five years and conduct research and advise on policies to help transform Macao into a world center for tourism and leisure.
