New Cypriot airline to start flights this weekend

TRAVEL GAZETTE – THE brand new Cyprus based airline TUS (The Ultimate Schedule) will begin flying this Sunday from Larnaca Airport.

TUS Airways received their air transport licence in December, reports the Famagusta Gazette.

An online statement, published on their Facebook page, shows Haifa, Tel Aviv and Herkalion in Greece is initial destinations.

Flights from Tel Aviv to Larnaca will begin on February 14, flights from Haifa to Larnaca on February 18, flights from Larnaca to Crete on March 28, and flights to Rhodes will begin at the end of the year.

TUS Air will operate short routes – up to two hours in duration – since its fleet contains small planes with a 34-seat capacity.
