A Saratov Airlines passenger jetliner carrying 71 passengers and crew has crashed.

Early reports suggest the An-148 regional jet was en route from Domodedovo Airport in Moscow to Orsk when it vanished from the radar.

The BBC reports an emergency services source has told Interfax news agency the plane crashed and there was “no chance” of survivors.

The BBC report added the plane reportedly fell near Argunovo, about 80km south-east of Moscow.
