Singapore records high tourism figures for 2017

Singapore is celebrating another excellent set of visitor arrivals and tourism receipts.

According to Channel News Asia, arrivals to the country last year shot up from 6.2 per cent to 17.4 million, with seven of the top 15 markets – China, India, Vietnam, Philippines, United States, United Kingdom and Germany – also hitting record visitor arrivals.

The Singapore Tourism Board said the top three largest markets for visitors to Singapore were China, Indonesia and India.

Figures also revealed that visitors were spending more.
