British Airways to offer ‘basic’ tickets to USA

Advert Travel Gazette

BRITISH Airways is launching “Basic” transatlantic fares from April, which, like budget competitors, will not include checked baggage or seat choices.
The Sun reports they will however still receive blankets and in-flight meals.

The airline – along with American Airlines, Iberia and Finnair- is making the changes as part of a larger roll-out by their parent company International Airlines Group (IAG).

The Norwegian budget routes to the USA from Europe have proved popular over the last few years.
