By Nathan Morley / Travel Gazette – Flydubai’s first flight has touched down in Dubrovnik, as part of its summer season schedule.
The airline will operate four flights a week until 25 October 2018.
The carrier, a government-owned low-cost airline with its head office and flight operations in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport, operates between a total of 95 destinations, serving the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe from Dubai.
“Flydubai is the first airline to offer passengers convenient, direct flights from Dubai to Dubrovnik. Our new service reflects flydubai’s commitment to open up 71 previously underserved markets on our network of more than 90 destinations,” said Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations.
Emirates will codeshare on this route as part of the Emirates flydubai partnership announced in July 2017.
The airline has also launched a daily service to Kraków. In a press release, the airline says its route network in Europe will reach 26 points with 135 weekly flights.
