EgyptAir, the flag carrier of Egypt, will start flights to Hong Kong in September.
The new route between Cairo and Hong Kong will be launched on Monday and Friday weekly with a stopover in Bangkok.
The carrier aims to open new markets in one of the most important international cities, noting that the Far East market is a promising one for aviation industry.
EgyptAir will fly its Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the route with two classes.
EgyptAir also offers discount of up to 25 percent to its customers on the first flight to Hong Kong on all classes, he said, noting that tickets are currently available till the first day of the flight.
