Greek ferry with 215 passengers hits breakwater near Athens, no casualties

A Greek ferry with 215 people onboard hit a breakwater Monday at the Port of Rafina, east of capital Athens, but there were no casualties, the Greek national news agency AMNA reported.

The Flying Cat 4 catamaran was sailing to the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean Sea when the incident occurred. Preliminary reports said the cause of the collision was mechanical failure.

The passengers were evacuated by the Coast Guard to other vessels to continue their journey.
