Iran’s Persepolis free-agent attacking midfielder Vahid Amiri penned a contract with Turkish soccer club Trabzonspor on Saturday, Tasnim news agency reported.
Trabzonspor has completed the signing of the Iranian international on a two-year contract.
Amiri, who joined Persepolis from Naft Tehran in 2016, shone at the 2018 World Cup representing the Iran national soccer team.
He played 50 matches for Persepolis and scored eight goals in Iran Professional League (IPL).
The details of Amiri’s contract have not been released.
